JEFFREY POTTER

Mr. Potter is the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of SkyLIFE and the lead inventor of the SkyLIFE System. Prior to founding SkyLIFE, Mr. Potter served as the CEO, Chief Innovator and Chief Inventor at Potter Technologies. Potter Tech is a boutique product development firm that focuses on creating new businesses through the development of new proprietary technologies. Jeffrey has been the lead facilitator and/or inventor in over 100 US & foreign Industrial Utility Patents. Potter Tech created and developed the prototypes, industrial machinery and intellectual property for the SkyLIFE technology.

Jeffrey previously acted as the President of a mid-sized engineering and development firm. Jeffrey was President and CEO of TCP Inc. which managed 130 engineering employees with approximately $20m per year in sales of new industrial process systems. TCP’s Industrial Process Development Division performed the majority of their business in technology development for the food packaging industry. These include development and patents of PET crystallization systems and proprietary plastic processing systems.

Jeffrey has 25 years of experience in the development of industrial process machinery, industrial construction and project management. Jeffrey developed the proprietary system known as VCD (Value Cluster Development) and the FOCUS system (illustrating Functions, Constraints and Specifications) that concentrates design efforts on value creation as opposed to incremental product improvement. Jeffrey is a former United States Marine and also a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.

Jeffrey attended professional development courses at MIT, Cal Tech and the University of Michigan on the management of disruptive technologies. Jeffrey is the former National Treasurer of the United States Marines Youth Foundation and the Past President of the West Toledo Kiwanis. He is host and founder of The Business Blackboard radio program. He has been married to his wife Tonia for 25 years and together they have 6 children.
